Sint Maarten. Lady takes her life by hanging.
On Saturday December 28th at approximately 07.35 a.m. a report come into the Simpson Bay Police station stating that a lady had committed suicide by hanging at an address on the Old Simpson Bay road.
A police patrol was immediately sent to the scene where they located the lifeless body of a 33 year old Canadian lady hanging by her neck from a tree at the back of the yard at the address in question.
According to two witnesses the victim was having some emotional problems with her boyfriend. They suspected she had been drinking and had been using other drugs.
The victim was last seen by the witnesses the evening before. They also suspected she had gone to work and had stayed out late. However in the morning she was found in that condition.
Detective Department and Forensic were on the scene collecting evidence. The investigation up this point has not shown that foul play is a factor.
