Movement for Justice and Prosperity (MJP) – Youth Awareness Rally

On Saturday, September 24th, 2016, Lazy Bay, Marigot, St. Martin (News Release)

The youth wing of our political movement M.J.P. is extending an invitation to our young people to join us for our Youth Awareness Rally.

This exciting event will be held at the Lazy Bay parking lot 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

The 2017 territorial elections will be a significant opportunity for our youth to lay claims to the future of their homeland. The purpose of the rally is to provide a platform to the youth to voice their concerns while encouraging them to participate in the process and go out to vote on Election Day.

The MJP acknowledges that our youth have been disappointed by their government and or their community.   We believe that young people must remain engaged in the political struggle while understanding that the future of this country in their hands to make a change.

A few of the topics to be discussed are public safety, healthy living, education and youth entrepreneurship and employment.  The MJP supports the following: healthy relationships amongst the authorities and our youth; healthy lifestyles promotes a healthy community and a healthy economy that provides opportunities for our youth. Also, a member of the Red Cross foundation will be present to share valuable health information.

On this evening our very own Ms. Kelly Brooks – President of the MJP youth wing and .Mr. Romuald Samer young MJP member will be the speakers for the evening.

Also on the schedule will be Mr. Daniel Gumbs Vice President of the MJP will also engage with the youth in attendance.

Our Youth Awareness Rally will end with a talent expo by various young talented groups to include: the Odd Brothers – D.O. Gizzle – Tony Boys – Tha  Union – and more.

Complimentary refreshments will be available.
