I thought of all the things I could possibly do to celebrate my 30th birthday which will be on February 4th…dinner, Travel, party, etc.
Though I would love to do all of these things, I thought creating even more memorable experiences that not only include my close friends, family and I but, all those who support me, what I do and of course our entire community would be even more amazing. Being so very active in the community, I see daily the good deeds that are being done by community members whether being foster parents, youth mentors, tutors, assisting with personal needs and so much more.
So, this year to celebrate my 30th birthday one of the things I will be doing is “30 Acts of Giving” !!! YES, “30 Acts Of Giving”
“30 ACTS OF GIVING” IS NOT DONE UNDER KeLaHa Projects BUT RATHER A PERSONAL ACT OF GIVING FOR MY BIRTHDAY.
30 years from now, when I look back at this moment in time in my life…I would like to remember my 30th birthday as an EXPERIENCE. An experience where I teamed-up/ Partnered with various persons and companies in the community, utilizing the little we have to create a major impact in the lives of others.
So for my entire birthday (JANUARY 28th-FEBRUARY 4th) week my team and I will be out & about in the community (French & Dutch Side) executing acts in partnership with various community members and entities. Acts such as school bags distribution, Donating Shoes to children living in foster homes, Sponsor a child/ children who lives in a foster home to participate in dance, drum band or any other positive activities, cleaning someone’s yard, have persons sign-up to be mentors at the St. Maarten Youth Brigade (Voices Of Our Youths), Makeovers, Vouchers, etc.
Some of the persons and businesses who have teamed up to be apart of this wonderful experience “30 Acts Of Giving” thus far are The O 30 Team, Ricardy Maricell (RM photography, Joel Ayuk of Cani Films, Sjorensley Valies of D Workshop, Pelican General Contractors, Rachel “The Hair Technician”, Aakeem Ruan, and more.
As I would like the entire community to be involved, I’m kindly asking each and every one of you to assist us in whatever way you can to make these “30 Acts Of Giving” a massive success!
