Teams will line up at noon and the march of teams in uniform and with banners is scheduled to step off at 12:30pm.
Four new teams have been added to the competition this year. The WIB Playetts and Coca Cola Steelers have registered to compete in the women’s division, while Crush and Invaders will play in the men’s group.
The Softball Association has also gone “high tech” this season, according to the association’s secretary Laura Louis. St. Maarten Softball can now be found on Facebook. “Our Facebook page is to motivate and inspire our players,” said Louis.
