Referees from both sides of the island jointly attended the sessions that was held at the Cultural Center in Grand-Case.
Head of CONCACAF referees Development Commission, Mr. Alfredo Whittaker, arrived on Tuesday February 4th 2014 along with Mr. Livingstone Bailey his assistant.
38 persons registered for the course at the beginning, but on the opening day 5 more showed interest in the program.
The sessions started on Wednesday Feb. 5th 2014, and were held nightly until Saturday Feb 8th. The only day session took place on Sunday Feb. 9th at 9.30am.
President Owen Nicky also addressed the participants.
In his undertaking, Mr. Whittaker outlined the day for day operating of the sessions and introduced his assistant Mr. Livingstone.
The work was well detailed, in particular for the beginners, it combined the amendments to the laws of the game and their interpretation through videos and game situations displayed on the field. Close attention was given, and no one felt left out.
Three (3) U-15 boys that aspire to become referees and five (5) women participated in the course. The Instructor was asked to do something similar to refresh the Teams Coaches and Captains.
President Fabrice Baly did the closing remark and was invited to hand out the Certificates to each participant. He was assist by his counterpart Mr. Owen Nicky.
