Sint Maarten – Supermarket robbed

On Sunday December 14th at approximately 06.40 p.m. police patrols were sent to Vanke Supermarket on Long Wall road to investigate an armed robbery.
On the scene the investigating officers spoke to the cashier who stated that shortly before two masked and armed men had stormed into the supermarket and threatened to use their weapons.
They robbers then proceeded to force the cashier to handover all of the cash which she did because she feared for her life. After committing this act the robbers fled the supermarket on foot.
The Special Robbery Unit is busy investigating.
