Environment – Migratory Bird Festival 2014 Sponsorship Request

Help make this year’s Migratory Bird Festival fantastic! We’d love you to join us for the 2014 Migratory Bird Festival as our guest, sponsor, or both.

The Migratory Bird Festival is a free, public Wildlife Discovery Event created by Les Fruits de Mer, where island residents and visitors of all ages can see and learn about the birds that fly thousands of miles to come to our island each year. To make this event as great as it can be, we’re seeking sponsorships from local community leaders like you for event supplies, including display materials, art supplies for the kids’ activity area, volunteer t-shirts, and drinking water. Sponsors will be thanked online and in promotional and press materials for the event, and their logos will be featured on event signage. Sponsors who confirm donations of $200 or more before October 1st will be featured on the event t-shirt.

If you’re not able to participate as an Migratory Bird Festival sponsor, but would like to volunteer or contribute in kind for this event, or if future event sponsorships or a corporate benefactor membership interest you, just let us know by email.

About the Migratory Bird Festival

160914-Birds

The Migratory Bird Festival is a free, public event where residents and visitors alike can see and learn about the migratory birds that travel thousands of miles each year to visit or spend the winter in St. Martin. These amazing birds connect the Americas with their incredible journeys, and St. Martin plays an important role in their life cycle. This event features guided birding tours, bird education, a portable pond aquatic invertebrates activity, migratory bird-themed art activities and the prize ceremony for the Birds of St. Maarten Competition. This year’s festival takes place at University of St. Martin, right in the middle of the Great Salt Pond, the seasonal home of many migratory bird species.
