ARMED ROBBERY AT WESTERN UNION COLE BAY

The Detective dept. is presently investigating an armed robbery, which took place at Western Union in Cole Bay at approximately 10.40. a.m. on Saturday December 12^th.

The first call came to the Emergency Dispatch informing them that two armed men had entered the establishment and committed the act. According to information shots were also fired in the establishment during the robbery but no one was injured. After committing this act the suspect fled the scene. It is still unclear how the suspects fled the scene and what they took from the establishment.

Detectives and Forensic Department were at the location questioning witnesses and collecting evidence. Much details regarding this robbery is still unavailable. When more information becomes available the media will be informed.
